Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams had a hard life growing up. He had a hard time fitting in at school and was not a very got student. He never got the proper schooling he should have received. He taught himself to play he piano when he was twelve and continued that into his early adult life. Most of his pictures were taken out in nature of the places he lived. He worked with a number of photographers, and in 1927. He spent summers photographing Sierra Nevada. Ansel Adams still had a lot of financial trouble. Around 1935 he started doing commercial work to make money. He would work for 18 hours plus a day. Every day.
I chose this picture of his because I love how some of the trees are really dark and some are white. All the different shades of grey and black make the picture really interesting to look at. I also like that you can see all the reflections on the water. Its a really calm picture and setting, but all of the different shades make it really interesting.

I like this picture because of the simplicity of it.  I love how it looks like a tunnel of trees. It is a really unique shot. You can see all the way don the road and that is rally cool.
london town
This picture caught my eye because of all the soft color beautiful landscape. I love how it is not dark but the city lights still stand out. I love how much of the scenery is captured.

Found faces story

This is Fred. Fred is an old country guy. His best feature is his awesome handle bar mustache. He owns a little cottage out in the country. His wife Linda lives with him, and they have been happily married for 30 years now. They have 3 children. Bethany is 18, Jake is 21, and Abby is 22. Jake and Abby have their own families and live in the city. Bethany is in collage to become a veterinarian. Fred's favorite thing to do it get together with his family on holidays. He loves his grandchildren more than anything. Jake has daughter named Aubrie. She likes to braid his mustache. Abby has daughter named Tia. Fred and Linda love having their two grandchildren over more than anything. Fred has lived and worked on the farm all his life. He always says he wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world. He has 2 horses, 1 cow, an a bunch of chickens. His wife Linda has a very big garden where they grow crops. He loves to take his horse out every morning and go trail riding, and watch the sunrise. Riding his horse is his way of passing the time. While Fred is out working on the farm he whistles. He can whistle any song, really loud, or really quite. He can make it sound like the whistle is coming from across the room. All of his grandchildren think it is the coolest thing, and ask him to do it all the time.
Fred never plans to retire from farming. Its just something he loves to do. He never will live in the city. He loves the fact that he can walk out his front door an be in nature. Him and his dog Reggie will do all the farm chores early in the morning. They get up around 5am, right before sunrise. After all the work is done, they both enjoy a day in nature. Sometimes they help Linda in the garden, and sometimes they go and explore in the woods. Most days they will go horseback riding, with Reggie running next to the horse. Fred's life as a farmer could not get any better.
